Spichaser helps users recognise potential pursuits based on license plate recognition. The app can use footage from third-party external cameras and works with a blacklist that is active immediately.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was processing large amounts of data and sending alerts to the app in time. That meant analysing the requirements thoroughly and setting up the data processing carefully.
Approach
We built the app in React Native, so one codebase runs on multiple platforms, and scaled the infrastructure with Kubernetes. Between the app and the data source we placed our own server that processes the data and sends the alerts.
What it delivered
The result is an app that processes large numbers of license plates and warns users in time about a potential pursuit. That gives drivers extra safety on the road.
