To process orders during events, we developed a POS tablet for the Tapp platform. The tablet is an easy-to-use tool for bar staff and shows customers the status of their order in real time.
Challenge
The tablet had to handle peak moments at busy events without slowing down. It also needed a multi-screen interface: one for bar staff to process orders and one for customers to follow their order status. On top of that, it had to scan the QR codes of customer orders.
Approach
We chose React Native for its broad support across devices and platforms. SDK integrations enabled QR code scanning and communication with the back end. A thorough back-end integration ensures the tablet works well with Tapp's existing systems.
What it delivered
The result is a fully working POS tablet that scans QR codes to process orders and offers a clear interface for both bar staff and customers. The tablet is part of the Tapp platform and works together with its other components.
