Gain Impact (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 74491474) is responsible for the personal data that comes in through this website. This policy explains which data that is, why we use it and what your rights are. Questions? Email [email protected].

Which data we process
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you fill it in) and your message.
- Intake and AI intake: your contact details and what you tell us about your project. For the AI intake you first confirm your email address, and we keep the conversation so we can assess your idea.
- Website use: which pages you view and what you click, your IP address, your browser and the device you use.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract.
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
- To improve the website and measure which ads lead to requests. Legal basis: our legitimate interest, and your consent where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We work with a few service providers that process data only on our behalf:
- Hosting and security: DigitalOcean and Cloudflare, which run the website.
- Email: the provider that sends the confirmation emails for our forms.
- Google reCAPTCHA: checks that a form is filled in by a person.
- OpenAI: processes the conversations in the AI intake so the assistant can reply. If you accept cookies, the OpenAI pixel also measures whether an ad leads to a request. For that we send a hashed version of your email address with a request, never the address itself.
- PostHog (EU): analyses how visitors use the website, without identifying them.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers then rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use functional cookies that the website and forms need to work, and an analytics cookie from PostHog that records how the website is used. That data stays with us and is not used to follow you across other websites.
The OpenAI pixel measures which ads lead to an enquiry. We only load it if you agree in the cookie notice. Without your consent we also send OpenAI no data about your request. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep data
Data from forms and intakes is kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to a project. In that case we keep what the project needs, plus what Dutch law requires us to keep for seven years for our accounts.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use or request a copy. Send your request to [email protected]; you will hear back within a month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The website only uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only our team can access incoming requests.
