Haagse Taxi is a taxi company serving The Hague and the surrounding area, available 24/7 for city rides, airport transfers and long distances. The same owner also runs Haagse Taxi Centrale. We built one booking platform for both brands, and haagsetaxi.nl on top of it.
Challenge
Someone looking for a taxi wants to know quickly what the ride costs. At the same time, two brands with their own look had to share the same rides, fares and bookings, without building and managing everything twice.
Approach
We built a booking module right at the top of the page. The customer enters pickup address, destination, optional stops, date, time, return trip and number of passengers and immediately sees a fixed price. Popular routes, such as to Schiphol, are listed with their fixed fare as a shortcut. Airport transfers and fixed fares also got their own pages, and customers can log in.
Result
Both brands run on the same booking platform: fares and bookings live in one place, while each brand keeps its own site and look. Customers see what their ride costs up front and book online themselves, at any time of day.
